Miss Charm is the first international beauty pageant founded by Vietnamese people. On November 17th, taking place in Ho Chi Minh City, the Miss Charm 2023 press conference was officially held to announce the start date of the beauty contest: February 3rd.
The press conference had the participation of many domestic beauties such as Kim Duyên, Diệu Ngọc, Thảo Nhi Lê, Lan Khuê, Quỳnh Nga. The international representatives participating in the press conference were beauties from Cambodia, Korea, Myanmar, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines.
Ms. Thuy Nga, general director of Elite Vietnam, and head of the jury revealed to Tuoi Tre Online that the total cost of organizing the contest was up to 4 million USD. In particular, the 1st prize award of Miss Charm 2023 is worth 100,000 USD. According to the organizers, this is the highest cash reward in the current international beauty pageants.
The professional jury of the contest includes Miss Universe 2005 Natalie Glebova, Miss World 2015 Mireia Lalaguna, Miss International 2012 Ikumi Yoshimatsu, female billionaire of Vietnamese origin Mimi Morris, and world-famous model – Irene Zhao.
