MISS CHARM COLOMBIA 2021 – KIMBERLY HOOKER NARANJO

Kimberly is the daughter of a father from San Andrés Island and a mother from Barranquilla, is a mixture of ancestry and traditions so divergent that makes her physical and spiritual traits a very special combination.

She has a bachelor’s degree in foreign languages, dreaming of becoming an educator like her parents, in addition to her vocation of service, always supporting social works through NGOs such as Fundicar in Barranquilla, Plan de Dios Foundation in Cartagena, and Coyongo Foundation based in Dubai, which works for the neediest children in the Colombian Caribbean region.

After many of her friends and family insisted, she decides to represent the archipelago of San Andrés, Providence, and Saint Ketlina in Colombia’s most important beauty pageant “Concurso Nacional de Belleza”, which she used as a platform to project herself in her country as a social leader; months later and due to the tragedy caused by Hurricane IOTA in the archipelago and thanks to her recognition as a beauty queen, she leads a national campaign to raise funds for the victims of her region.

In 2020, despite the global pandemic, Kimberly was able to start her career as a model, participating in fashion shows for renowned designers and becoming the image of the renowned Dominican swimwear brand based in Miami: Maru Jordan. Her future goal is to take up residence in Europe thanks to the invitation of several modeling agencies.

Besides basketball, her hobbies include writing poetry and essays, she does not rule out fulfilling her dream of publishing a book with all her best creations in the future.

In 2021, her greatest desire is to become the first Miss Charm and thus fulfill her dreams of fighting for a more equitable society and tell the world about this magical corner bordered by a sea of seven colors that Colombia is so proud of.
